The Contracts Manager Role:
- Take control of the delivery of refurbishment and interior fit-out projects across the leisure interior fit-out sector; restaurants, bars and hotels, with project values from £50k to £3m.
- Responsible for the day to day operations of all aspects of project delivery.
- Build good relations with the client and project team.
- Ensure all aspects of the build process are satisfactorily completed on time and within cost and to the highest possible standards.
- Carry out perfect delivery and produce snag free jobs.
- Run at least two contracts at one time.
- Liaison with construction teams, landlords and clients.
- Design control and coordination, directly liaise with designers.
- Management of Site Manager and site teams.
- Manage all aspects of the build process.
- Visit sites at least one day a week.
The Successful Contracts Manager:
- Proven track record in the Construction Interior Fit-Out & Refurbishment sector.
- Experience specifically in Leisure & Hospitality related projects, such as bars, restaurants and front of house hotels is highly desirable.
- Exceptional client facing skills.
- Management of subcontractors and a direct labour workforce.
- Delivering quality finished end product to time and budget.
- Commercially aware, extensive knowledge of all disciplines involved in the construction process.
- Thorough knowledge of H&S procedures.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Relevant CSCS qualifications.
