The Mechanical Design Engineer Role:
They are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with design capabilities, to work on a wide variety of projects in sectors including Data Centres, Commercial Fit Outs, Refurbishment Projects, and Project lifecycle works. You will be working between office locations in both Greenwich and Canary Wharf.
Responsibilities include:
- Technical review/approval of technical submittals to ensure they remain aligned with the Stage 4 design intent and our CPD responsibilities.
- Develop and produce all necessary Mechanical calculations and design solutions from briefing stage through to detailed design stage.
- Monitor and assist with construction works as they progress on site in respect of compliance and high-quality standards set by the business.
- Lead and run key testing and commissioning activities such as ISTs and Black Building Tests.
- Undertake technical appraisals of existing buildings to develop short and long term development strategies.
- Energy Performance Assessments.
- Single Point of Failure Analysis (SPOF).
