The Role

You will oversee complex structural engineering programmes, laboratory-based testing activities, and multidisciplinary technical teams, acting as a trusted authority for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural engineering activities and technical services
- Oversee structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with BS and EN standards
- Develop and interpret structural test regimes involving static and dynamic behaviour
- Manage laboratory testing activities to ensure safe and reliable outcomes

- Contribute to structural inspection, assessment, and fire performance activities

About You
You will be a Chartered Structural Engineer with strong technical expertise and leadership capability.
Requirements:
- Chartered Structural Engineer status
- Strong knowledge of BS and EN codes and standards
- Experience leading complex structural engineering and testing activities
- Understanding of static and dynamic structural behaviour
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to produce technical reports and proposals
- Knowledge of UK construction methods and materials
- Structural fire design and assessment experience
- AutoCAD and FEA modelling experience
- Commercial awareness and client-facing experience
