Career-Bridge Recruitment is partnering with a leading privately-owned housing developer who are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their dynamic team in Liskeard. You will be reporting into the contracts manager running residential construction projects from start to finish. The Role You’ll take full responsibility for site operations — ensuring builds are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. You’ll coordinate subcontractors and trades, maintain strong communication with internal teams, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Lead daily site activity and enforce health & safety compliance * Manage build quality, programme delivery, and cost control * Schedule and supervise trades to meet production targets * Conduct quality checks and resolve defects promptly * Keep accurate site records and documentation * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handovers * Support and develop the on-site team, setting clear expectations * Represent the company professionally to customers and partners What You’ll Bring * Proven experience in housebuilding or residential construction * Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills * Good knowledge of building regulations, NHBC standards, and H&S requirements * SMSTS, CSCS, and full UK driving license * NVQ Level 6 or equivalent (preferred) * Customer-focused mindset and commitment to quality Benefits * Competitive salary up to £70,000 per annum + car allowance + annual bonus * Private medical cover and life assurance * Pension and employee discount scheme * 24–28 days holiday plus volunteering day * Ongoing training and career development
