A leading independent construction consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing Cardiff team. Working across a variety of sectors, they provide strategic project advice from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery aligned with client objectives, programme requirements, and budget expectations.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will support and lead the delivery of projects through all stages of the project lifecycle, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects from feasibility through to completion
- Developing and maintaining project programmes
- Coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Managing project risks and mitigation strategies
- Monitoring budgets and reporting on project performance
- Supporting procurement and contract administration activities
- Chairing project meetings and preparing reports for clients
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Requirements
- 2β5 years' experience in a Project Management role within the construction or property sector
- Consultancy experience desirable but not essential
- Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Working towards or interested in pursuing professional accreditation (APM, RICS, CIOB or similar)
