We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Site Engineer to join a construction team delivering high-profile infrastructure projects in Devonport. You will work on challenging and innovative projects, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the successful delivery of large-scale engineering works.
Key Responsibilities:- Setting Out and Surveying: Assist in site surveys and establish engineering controls for construction activities. Conduct accurate setting out using modern equipment such as GPS and total stations.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules. Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures and ensure work is carried out to a high standard. Assist in the preparation of as-built records and quality documentation.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Promote a strong safety culture and support the enforcement of health and safety policies. Conduct risk assessments and ensure activities comply with environmental regulations.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
