We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Site Engineer to join a construction team delivering high-profile infrastructure projects in Devonport. Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting Out and Surveying: Assist in site surveys and establish engineering controls for construction activities. Conduct accurate setting out using modern equipment such as GPS and total stations.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules. Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures and ensure work is carried out to a high standard. Assist in the preparation of as-built records and quality documentation.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Promote a strong safety culture and support the enforcement of health and safety policies. Conduct risk assessments and ensure activities comply with environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and a keen interest in construction engineering.
  • Familiarity with surveying equipment and CAD software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • An analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid driving license.
