We are currently working with a well-established civil engineering consultancy that is seeking a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience to join their Cardiff office. The business specialises in civil engineering design for residential developments and is looking for motivated engineers keen to further develop their careers within a collaborative consultancy environment.
The Role: You will work on a range of residential infrastructure projects, supporting senior engineers in the delivery of highways, drainage and earthworks designs from planning through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of residential infrastructure schemes
- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations and reports
- Design highways and drainage systems
- Produce plot level strategies and earthworks designs
- Liaise with clients, local authorities and wider design teams
- Support project delivery to programme and budget
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience within a civil engineering consultancy
- Residential development experience preferred
- Knowledge of:
- Plot levels
- Highway design
- Drainage design
- Proficient in:
- Flow / MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage
- Civil 3D or Site 3D
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Motivated and collaborative approach
