The successful candidate will have proven experience working on UK residential development projects, supporting engineers through planning, detailed design, and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD

*

Support drainage design including foul, surface water and SuDS layouts

*

Assist with highways design including estate roads, access roads and junctions

*

Prepare drawings for planning applications, technical approval and construction issue

*

Work closely with civil engineers and project managers to deliver coordinated designs

*

Amend drawings in response to technical comments from local authorities and stakeholders

*

Ensure compliance with UK drainage standards, highways standards and local authority requirements

Strong experience using AutoCAD within a civil engineering consultancy

Background in residential development infrastructure design

Knowledge of drainage, SuDS, highways and road design

Understanding of Manual for Streets and UK design standards
