We are recruiting for a reliable and resourceful Print Warehouse Assistant to support our Riverpark Press Printing team in our Manchester warehouses (M11). We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, has a ‘can do’ attitude and gets things done efficiently and effectively. The job is fast paced, so we are looking for someone who starts every day with energy and passion. You will have excellent timekeeping skills, won’t be afraid of rolling your sleeves up and working hard, and will have a great eye for detail.
What you’ll be doing:
- Help prepare large format print for shipping to regions or to third party clients.
- Use Mac software to print off courier labels for shipping.
- Ensure accurate colour representation and sizing on all campaign print.
- Help with a busy cutting, finishing and packing schedule.
- Ensure that deliveries are packed to specific delivery instructions.
- Receive, check and put away goods into correct location.
- Collate large format finished print correctly using the artwork instructions.
- Process new posters using a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain the warehouse up to current health and safety standards.
- Make sure loading area outside of warehouse is free of pallets and debris and is swept daily.
- Ensure all tasks on the end of day checklist have been completed e.g. bins emptied, workstations wiped down and the warehouse is swept.
About you:
- You’ll have a great eye for detail.
- Take pride in keeping workspaces safe, clean and tidy.
- Be able to work to tight deadlines.
- A keen learner.
- Possess great communication skills.
- Have a good level of computer skills.
- Previous experience working in a busy warehouse would be desirable.
Salary of £28K plus bonus scheme to share in company success.
