Get stuck into one of Edinburgh's most unique summer jobs. You'll be part of the crew installing and maintaining large-format advertising across the city during the world's biggest arts festival. Based out of our Edinburgh warehouse, the work is physical, varied and fast-moving — no two days are the same during the Fringe.

The three phases:

  • BUILD (all of July, 4+ weeks) — Installing all sites across the city. Openness to a 40+ hour week
  • MONITORING (August) — Checking and maintaining live sites. 40 hours per week.
  • BREAK (first two weeks of September) — De-rigging all sites. Openness to a 40+ hour week

What you'll be doing:

  • Installing and de-rigging advertising hoardings, banners, posters and structures across Edinburgh
  • Loading and unloading materials at the warehouse and on-site
  • Basic carpentry and fixing — assembling frames, attaching panels
  • Transporting materials between the warehouse and sites across the city
  • Monitoring installed sites during August — checking for damage or issues
  • Carrying out minor repairs and replacements on live sites
  • Working as part of a crew under the direction of a production manager
  • Keeping work areas safe and tidy at all times

About you:

  • Comfortable with manual work on a daily basis
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers
  • Soft carpentry or construction skills a bonus
  • Confident driving a Luton van — not essential, but handy
  • Festival or events experience helpful

£15 per hour
