Water Hygiene Engineer – Up to £32,000 + Company Van + Benefits

Location: Remote (Covering Midlands to Newcastle)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 DOE

Are you an experienced Water Treatment Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We’re hiring a skilled and motivated Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing team, delivering expert services across a diverse and high-profile client base including universities, schools, commercial buildings, and prison estates.

This is a remote, field-based role offering flexibility and autonomy — ideal for someone who thrives on managing their own workload and taking pride in delivering high standards of compliance and water hygiene solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform PPM tasks, inspections, monitoring, and sampling in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidelines.

Undertake remedial plumbing works, TMV servicing, tank cleans, chlorinations, and disinfections.

Support clients with the development and implementation of Legionella management plans.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and Health & Safety legislation across all sites.

Requirements:

Proven experience in water hygiene/water treatment – ideally 2+ years.

Strong working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and relevant water hygiene legislation.

Full UK driving licence is essential.

Experience working independently and managing your own schedule.

City & Guilds or equivalent Legionella Risk Assessment qualification desirable.
