Job Description

Maintenance Manager – Property & Facilities Services

Location: Maidenhead (hybrid with regional travel)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 mileage, phone & progression

We’re representing a growing property and facilities services contractor who are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee their day-to-day operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid FM/maintenance management experience who’s looking for genuine progression – the role is designed to evolve into a Head of Maintenance position within 18–24 months.

The Role

• Manage day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance jobs across residential, commercial and mixed-use sites

• Oversee a team of multiskilled operatives and subcontractors, scheduling work efficiently and monitoring KPIs

• Carry out site inspections, close off snags quickly and ensure SLA compliance

• Act as the main point of contact for estate agents, landlords and commercial clients

• Support quotations, manage budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings

What We’re Looking For

• At least 4 years’ experience in FM/maintenance management or property repairs

• Strong trade awareness (fabric, plumbing, basic M&E) with the ability to roll up your sleeves when needed

• Proven ability to schedule and manage operatives/subcontractors across multiple sites

• Comfortable with CAFM/job-tracking systems and confident using MS Office

• Full UK driving licence

• Additional qualifications (18th Edition, IOSH/SMSTS, HVAC, SFG20) desirable but not essential
