Location: Sittingbourne, Kent (Nationwide Coverage)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (plus overtime opportunities)

About the Role

As a Pump Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a range of pumped drainage products, including wastewater pumping stations, packaged pump systems, booster sets, and treatment plants. This is a field-based role requiring travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and repair booster sets, pump stations, and sewage treatment plants.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
  • Perform risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
  • Provide clear updates to customers and recommend further works where necessary.
  • Complete job reports and paperwork accurately.
  • Be flexible and willing to travel nationwide, including overnight stays when required.
  • Assist across different areas of the business when needed.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a pump servicing role.
  • Hands-on experience with submersible clean and foul water pumps, booster sets, and pressurisation units.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines (18th Edition qualification desirable).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
