Due to continuous growth we are now seeking a Estimator or Senior Estimator to join a principal contractor within their Facades & Cladding division.

You will become part of the Pre-Construction team, reporting into the Pre Construction Manager and working collaboratively with Head of Commercial, Operations Managers and Design Managers.

Location: Southeast London - Open to flexible working 4 and 1 split initially with the opportunity to move to a 3 and 2 split once completed probation

Salary: £70k - £95k - depending on experience

The role will involve estimating primarily residential high-rise Façade/Cladding remedials works with tender opportunities coming from various Housing Association Frameworks and private ventures.

To Prepare and produce accurate cost estimates from receipt of tender enquiry to tender settlement stage to achieve the Company Business growth Plan targets in respect of the Estimating function. Update the business sales pipeline with accurate sales information and ensure CRM software is continually kept updated. Support the Commercial and operational teams when required on developing mobilsation plans, project briefsand work in progress relating to commercial, design and operational issues.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the construction Industry.
  • Candidate must have experience in Façade.
  • Experience in Façade remediation is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Main contracting is highly desirable.
  • Must have experience with on-screen Take off, such as Bluebeam.
  • Must be confident dealing with clients & subcontractors.
  • Successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and technical knowledge of the façade sector.
  • Candidate must be technically minded with reading and interpreting detail drawings.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Highly numerate, with the ability to build Bill of Quantities (BOQ’s) quickly and accurately.
