We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager to join an established commercial refurbishment and fit out contractor delivering a major project in the heart of London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a CAT A and CAT B structural refurbishment and fit out project , working closely with the project team, subcontractors, consultants and client to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

As Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are coordinated and delivered in line with the programme, drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the day-to-day construction activities across the project
Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team
Managing short-term programmes and sequencing of works
Coordinating trades and resolving site-based issues
Monitoring quality and ensuring a high standard of workmanship
Attending site meetings and coordinating with consultants and stakeholders
Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction information
Managing health & safety and ensuring compliance with site procedures
Monitoring progress against programme and reporting any potential delays
Ensuring materials, labour and subcontractors are effectively coordinated
Supporting the successful handover and completion of the project
