The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.
You will establish project inspection criteria, project designs and ensure the proper implementation of project engineering and report to the Senior Project Manager.

- Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with sales team & projects team.
- Read, understand, and lead the preparation of engineering design documents including, process flow diagrams, site plans and civil/mechanical piping drawings, building indication drawings and specifications.
Prepare Auto CAD layout sketches, detail drawings and flow sheets and site visits where necessary.
- Liaise internally, with customers and suppliers to clarify technical requirements & to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose.
- Prepare Handover Protocol Meetings of projects to Engineering.
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
- Ensuring all procedures and calculations are submitted to the client for review and approval.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. i. e. method statements & risk assessments.
- Agree deviations from standard commercial terms and conditions with the Commercial and Project Manager.
- Assisting colleagues in the department with quotations & project related works.
- These are the skills you'll need
- Required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering or minimum qualification in the above subjects at HND level.
- Demonstrable experience in machine layout drafting (2D/3D) in Auto CAD.
- Experience preparing a process flow diagram and installation drawing, building indication drawings from layout.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD)
- Ability to interpret and create detailed engineering drawing.
- Worked on detailed mechanical design of plant system(s) such as pneumatic conveying, aspiration diagram from defined client specification, this will include creating an isometric diagram of pneumatic scheme and creating an associated documentation including BOM and installation drawings.
- Knowledge of universal drafting standards.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
- Experience in 3D modelling software.
- Pro‑active, customer focused with strong communication skills.
- Flexible approach with good self organisation skills and ability to prioritise.
- Reliable and self‑checking work and excellent numerical capabilities
