  • Provide practical, clear and people-focused HR advice to managers and employees on employee relations, performance, attendance, workplace matters and dependant-related leave.
  • Guide, coach and influence managers and leaders, helping them make sound people decisions that support business performance and positive employee outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with employees, managers and stakeholders across Bühler UK's business locations.
  • Identify people priorities and translate business needs into practical HR solutions aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Develop, implement and review HR policies, procedures and working practices to ensure legal compliance, data protection and alignment with best practice.
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, internal moves, secondments, family leave, offboarding, exit interviews and leaver reporting.
  • Support managers through restructures, redundancies, retirements and other organisational changes, ensuring appropriate legal processes are followed.
  • Support recruitment and resourcing activity, including hiring strategies, job descriptions and adverts, interview coordination, onboarding and talent pipelines.
  • Deliver HR initiatives across workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, engagement, organisational development, diversity and inclusion, and hybrid working.
  • Lead learning and development activities, including training needs analysis, programme design and delivery, career pathways, appraisals, leadership programmes and HR workshops.
  • Manage apprenticeship, internship, graduate, secondment, reward and recognition programmes, including relevant administration and end-to- end coordination.
  • Analyse and report HR data, maintain accurate HR records, support pay, reward, benefits and employee communications, and undertake HR projects as required.
  • These are the skills you'll need
  • Demonstrable experience working with business areas at HR Advisor level within a complex matrix organisation.
  • Good knowledge across key HR disciplines, including employee relations, learning and development, and recruitment, with an understanding of pay topics and a strong working knowledge of UK employment and immigration law.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, manage multiple cases and projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong learning and development expertise, with the ability to identify training needs and design, create and deliver engaging programmes.
  • An adaptable and inquisitive self-starter who thrives in a varied working environment and is committed to continuous learning.
  • High emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for people management, employee engagement and improving the employee experience.
  • An articulate and diplomatic communicator who can build trusted relationships and manage the expectations of a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while also working confidently and independently.
  • A CIPD qualification would be advantageous.
