The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

This is an opportunity for a driven engineer looking to make an impact in a global technical support environment. You will provide higher level support to our globally based service centres and have the chance to travel abroad visiting and supporting our growing customer base.

This is where you'll excel:

  • Provide in-house and at site after-sales technical support to our customers and global teams.
  • Deliver trainings to our customers, regional engineers and global teams.
  • Commission new machines.
  • Carry out planned and emergency fault finding and analysis support for all machines in our product range.
  • Proactively report feedback and field issues to in-house departments and track progress of raised actions, supporting R&D and Sales and recognising when to elevate issues encountered to other departments within our organisation.
  • Support internal design and development projects from the service viewpoint.
  • Field Validation of software & hardware changes.
  • Proactively aid the development of our customer support products.
  • CS upgrade kit validation at site and in-house tech documentation creation and support.

These are the skills you’ll need:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 5 qualification, ideally HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Previous experience in a technical customer support environment.
  • Clear Communication Skills written and verbal.
  • Ability to liaise confidently with customers at all levels.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
  • Additional language skills, particularly German, would be advantageous.
  • A current passport and a full, clean, and current driving licence, as the role will require regular international long and short haul travel.
