Join to apply for the CFO BUKL & BNEU role at Bühler Group The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee and manage the finance and commercial activities of Bühler UK Ltd., including the Sorting and Rice (SR) business headquartered in the UK, and the Sales & Service Organisation Northern Europe (BNEU), with locations in the UK, Belgium, and Denmark. The CFO reports directly to the Head of Region BNEU and Managing Director of BUKL, with functional reporting to the Head of BU Sorting and Rice Solutions, the Bühler Group CFO Europe, and the Director of Financial & Commercial for the Business Unit Grain Quality and Supply. This is where you\’ll excel The CFO for BUKL will have responsibilities including: Being a member of the SAS and SR leadership team, defining and implementing strategy. Supporting sub-region and local management teams with sound financial and commercial advice. Developing and ensuring the performance of the Finance functions within the sub-regions and business units. Leadership Leading controlling, accounting (including tax), IT, commercial, order processing, shipping, and facility management, including health and safety. Leading finance representatives in BDEN and BBRX. Maintaining and developing the Finance team, including talent retention. Financial Reporting and Controlling Managing monthly financial reporting in OneStream per Bühler standards. Handling budgeting, forecasting, and controlling for the Sorting and Rice Business and SAS in UK and North Europe. Providing financial analysis and supporting group financial audits. Budgeting Overseeing the budgeting process for BUKL and Business Unit SR, including local budgets and SAS fees. Financing and Cash Flow Managing net working capital, cash flow, dividend payments, and investments. Overseeing the financing model and invoicing processes. Local Accounting, Taxes, and Compliance Preparing local statutory financial statements and managing audits and tax filings. Managing local pension funds. Control System and Risk Management Maintaining financial control and risk assessment frameworks, including ICS. Supporting legal document reviews for risk management. Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborating with Europe SAS and local SAS management on financial impacts. Working with GQ and SR management on business results. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; professional qualifications such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA. Extensive leadership experience in FP&A within an international matrix organization. Knowledge of SAP (CO, FI, BW), S/4, local tax, and accounting regulations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in management and international business experience are pluses.
