Job Summary We are currently seeking experienced and motivated HGV Technicians to join our maintenance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of our HGV fleet, ensuring all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational.
The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience with heavy vehicles and a proactive approach to maintenance, fault finding, and safety.
Shift pattern 4 on 4 off 12-hour shift Specific Responsibilities and Objectives Ensure that all vehicles are MOT prepared within operating licence timescales.
Ensure that all vehicles are serviced on time and in full.
All Inspections to be carried out on time and in full.
All repairs to be carried out on time and in full.
All timescales to be in line with DVSA and Operators Licence requirements.
Complete relevant paperwork to comply with health and safety and food safety standards and to track the service provided.
Provide excellent customer service with a proactive attitude Operate relevant MHE (if applicable / permitted towards colleagues and customers Must be physically active due to the nature of the role, dealing with heavy goods Must be fluent in English due to the nature of the role; being in constant communication with Planning teams, Operations teams and customers both in person and on the phone.
Ability to work alone and be self-motivated This position provides an engaging environment for those passionate about heavy vehicle maintenance within a professional setting committed to safety and quality standards.
