Summary/Objective: Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 125 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages the best alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage portfolio in the country, which includes several beloved global and regional brands. The CME Shipping and Receiving Support is a key member of the Corporate Marketing Equipment Team responsible for performing many general functions in order to assist and support the efficient operations of the warehouse.

Essential Functions:

  • Unload shipments via forklift and/or pallet jack when orders arrive.
  • Hand stack special equipment for shipping, lifting up to 50 pounds maximum.
  • Band and wrap shipments utilizing bander and wrapper.
  • Separate, organize, and pack items for refurbishment or return to other remanufacturers or suppliers.
  • Wear all assigned safety equipment and observe safety rules.
  • Assist in general housekeeping functions within the warehouse and grounds.
  • Process equipment orders received from the Franchises by getting approval and preparing orders to be sent out.
  • Receive used equipment from Franchise to be sorted for remanufacturing or sale.
  • Process orders through computer software to be sent to the Franchises.
  • Complete and process shipping orders/load tickets, truck load forms, and WMS reports for equipment being sent.
  • Provide daily communication with franchises and technicians on orders, back orders, and out of stock items.
  • Order equipment when necessary; maintain and update drop ship equipment orders to the franchises.
  • Maintain inventory functions: adding new equipment, remanufactured equipment, and internal refurbished equipment.
  • Maintain and file all records/invoices pertaining to CME functions.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
  • Meet productivity established by supervisor based upon workload and business demands.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); Required
  • Must be able to be Forklift Certified by Buffalo Rock Company
