Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler headquartered in Birmingham, AL. The Forklift Operator (Replenishment) operates sit-down forklifts, stocks sourcing/picking locations of the Vertique Towers (HQS/SAW lanes) with products from back-stock locations, and ensures the continuous flow of products from the towers.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain regular and timely attendance, including nights, weekends, and mandatory overtime.

Work Environment

Work will involve indoor and outdoor activities. Temperature conditions vary from extreme heat to extreme cold.

Physical Demands

Must stand, walk, sit, lift, grasp, reach, speak, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, and bend. Lift up to 50 lbs. Intermittently up to 100 lbs.

Required Education and Experience

  • Education: High School Graduate or GED (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in a warehouse environment (required).
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year operating a forklift (required).
  • Preferred: Prior experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Skills: Read product packaging and communicate in English via radio; pass forklift certification; perform basic math and use Warehouse Management Systems.
