Budweiser Budvar is no ordinary brewery. We’re one of the few breweries in the world to be owned by a nation, not a corporation. There are over 400 breweries in what we like to call the ‘Republic of Beer’, but ours is the only one that is owned by the Czech people.

Purpose of the Job
· To actively engage and prospect target sites in the On Trade, introduce them to our brand and gain listings
· Responsibility for the delivery of the P&L for their customers
· Deliver on Key KPI\’s: Volume, New Business Installs, Quality and Visibility in outlet
· Use knowledge of the market, brand and category strategies across the channel to anticipate, trends, competitive threats and commercial opportunities.
· Negotiate contracts that benefit the business and support the continued ongoing relationship with our customers.
· To maintain a strong relationship with existing accounts via calls, training and activations and working with key contacts
· To be our eyes and ears on the ground, the face of Budweiser Budvar UK and our biggest advocates.
· To maintain our customer reputation as a supplier who is ‘easy to do business with’
· Deliver enhanced returns for the brand and deliver our vision to On Trade customers.
· To use and update our CRM system with latest insights about customers, prospects and stockists.
· Prepare and present quality information at sales meetings and for senior managers.
Principle Accountabilities
· Sell, promote and present all company products to new and existing clients
· Conduct proactive customer business reviews and identify opportunities and resolve issues
· Renegotiate and complete annual terms/contracts with customers
· Ensure that effective personal contact is maintained with all relevant customers in such a way as to maintain our reputation as a world-class supplier.
· Provide excellent customer service.
· Gain insight and report on competitor activity.
· Represent the company at trade shows, activations, and other events.
· Build and maintain strong customer and route to market relationships.
· Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with our wider teams: Marketing, Logistics, Office Team, and Brand Ambassadors
Skills & Experience
· Right to work in the UK is essential.
· Proven track record of P&L responsibility
· At least 2 years experience in the On Trade managing customers
· Equally important is the ability to communicate clearly, be likeable and be able to build strong working relationships
· Proven track record of working independently and delivering results; is self-motivated, and able to manage time and workload to optimise effectiveness.
· Evidence of an entrepreneurial ’can do’ attitude; is ambitious, relentless, willing to take risks, learns obsessively and loves to make a difference!
· Have a passion to drive and win new business
· Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen.
· Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
· Regular UK travel will be a function of the role.
Working Hours
· Working hours are Monday to Friday;
· 5 days per week 8.5 hours per day (Flex for Meetings, Prospecting, Events etc.. NB Some evening hours will be required)
· Will need to be flexible to work additional hours if needed (Trade Events, Customers Events)

Other Requirements
· High level capability in Microsoft Office products (I.e. Excel, Power point, Word etc)
