The Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic and proactive Quality Specialist to join our team at Magor Brewery . This role plays a vital part in ensuring the site meets all requirements relating to EHS, Food/Feed Integrity, and GMP (including HACCP). You’ll collaborate across functions to support audit readiness, drive continuous improvement, and lead on quality-related initiatives, contributing to the site’s overall performance and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with EHS, Food/Feed Integrity, GMP, and HACCP standards
- Support Zone Brewery Support Audits and implement effective action plans
- Co-ordinate and monitor VPO audit requirements and quality improvement activities
- Analyse microbiological results, co-ordinate testing, and follow up on actions as needed
- Lead and contribute to site HACCP activities as part of the HACCP team
- Develop, manage, and report on KPI systems and data capture processes
- Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for Brewing Quality, Food/Feed Safety, and Microbiology
- Co-ordinate external audits (e.g. FEMAS & BRC) and ensure action plans are in place and followed up
- Drive Quality Improvement Initiatives and lead Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycles
- Deliver responsibilities in line with role-specific checklists and attend relevant meetings as scheduled
