The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
These shift-based roles report to the Production First Line Manager (FLM). You will be part of a multi-skilled team, responsible for undertaking a number of brewing operations, stock management, safety reporting (near misses) and housekeeping. The shift brewer is responsible for the entire brewing process from the intake of raw materials to the production of bright beer for release to packaging.
Key Tasks:
- The safety of our teams is our top priority through teamwork and collaboration ensuring to raise near misses on-time with 100% closure rate.
- Working with safety on safety initiatives.
- Making great beer requires the highest quality standards always by following our strict hygiene standards, reporting anything out of specification or process and being an owner of all areas of your role ensuring to follow our operational standards and maintaining high attention to detail.
- Basic Lab operations; including but limited to yeast counts, diacetyl testing.
- Meeting plan attainment on time in full making sure to report any deviations.
- Performing all necessary brewery operations – including brewhouse, cellar management and bright beer filtration.
- Conducting any problem solves and contributing to our continuous improvement program.
- Inventory management of all raw materials, chemicals and goods receipting upon delivery.
- Management of waste streams created by the brewing processes e.g. spent grain, waste yeast etc.
- Loading and unloading of materials.
