The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 ÂŁ per year.
To work as a key person and as part of a dynamic preâschool team under the direction of the manager. To provide safe, highâquality education and care for young children that meets the individual needs of children attending the setting.
The role will include amongst others, the following duties:
- Carry out observations to establish childrenâs individual development in addition to their general health and wellbeing needs.
- Using the nursery management information system, maintain a consistent standard of observation and assessment records, including the 2âyearâold progress check.
- Help set up for the daily programme and tidy away at the end of each session.
- Act as a key person to a small group of children, liaising closely and building an effective relationship with parents/carers, and ensuring each childâs needs are recognised and met.
- Work in partnership with parents/carers and family members. Offer support and guidance, and ensure parents/carers are regularly involved in discussion about their childâs progress.
- Teach the children, offering an appropriate level of support alongside stimulating play experiences.
- Ensure that children are kept safe and that you understand when to follow child protection procedures.
- Support at mealtimes within the setting.

Pay: ÂŁ25,000.00-ÂŁ32,000.00 per year
