Buds to Blossoms Nurseries Limited is seeking a dependable and conscientious Kitchen Assistant / Housekeeper to support our nursery team and help maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks in line with food hygiene regulations
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen, nursery rooms, toilets, and communal areas
- Managing laundry duties including washing, drying, and organising nursery linens
- Following all health & safety, infection control, and food safety procedures
- Working respectfully and appropriately in areas where children are present
Essential Requirements:
- A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (mandatory)
- A good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness in an early years setting
- Reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in a kitchen or housekeeping role
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate
