Duties:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues
- Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
- Lead by example in demonstrating management and leadership skills within the team
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare
- Assist with organising outings or trips, including driving when necessary
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery’s curriculum and policies
Person Specification:
- Must have Level 3 Early Years / Nursery Practitioner / Childcare Diploma
- Passionate about supporting children's development and creating a nurturing environment
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills within a childcare environment
