What We Need

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Customer Success Engineer to join our team. Budibase is a technical product aimed at IT and software developers, and this role is crucial for ensuring our enterprise customers can successfully deploy and manage Budibase in their own self-managed environments. This is a remote position for candidates eligible to work in the UK. Candidates living in Northern Ireland can also benefit from office space and in-person working (Belfast).

What You'll Do

  • Debug and resolve complex issues with customer's self-managed Budibase deployments, including those using Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud hosting platforms.
  • Provide expert technical support for infrastructure-related inquiries via email, GitHub, and video calls.
  • Help customers understand best practices for deploying and maintaining Budibase in a production environment.
  • Improve and update our product documentation, with a specific focus on deployment guides and technical infrastructure.
  • Answer L1 customer support requests to ensure our customers are successful with Budibase.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience (1+ years) in a customer-facing technical role, with a strong focus on infrastructure or DevOps.
  • Demonstrable experience with DevOps tools and concepts, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of Linux administration and networking.
  • Experience with the NodeJS/Docker packaging ecosystem.

Bonus Skills

  • A solid understanding of basic programming concepts and data structures.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  • Experience with databases or using REST APIs.
  • Experience with Budibase or a similar low-code platform.
