About the Role: Flogas is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will support the day-to-day delivery of HR operations across the business, ensuring the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist will play a key role in employee lifecycle activities and employee relations, while contributing to key HR initiatives that align with our People Strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic HR professional to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused organisation. Key Responsibilities: Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contracts, performance management, probations, and exits. Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies and resolving employee relations issues in line with Flogas policies and employment legislation. Assist the wider people team in driving employee engagement initiatives. Maintain and update employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Support disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes, including conducting investigations, preparing documentation, and advising people managers. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and process improvements. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organise and promote well-being programmes, mental health resources, and team-building activities to support a healthy and motivated workforce. Stay updated on employment law and best practices to ensure compliance and advise on necessary adjustments. Foster positive relationships between employees and management to promote a cohesive and productive workplace culture. Candidate profile: The ideal candidate will have a 3rd level HR qualification, with 2+ years of experience in a similar HR role. CIPD membership or working towards it is desirable. They will possess strong knowledge of employment law in ROI and NI, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office is essential, alongside the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment. A strong focus on confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation will be key to success in this role.
