We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in busy kitchen environments. Duties
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook meals efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and storing ingredients properly
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or expiry dates
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during service hours
- Serve food to customers in a professional and courteous manner when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
- Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
