We are looking for a highly capable, mature and experienced Full-Time Senior Executive Assistant to support the Founder / CEO across a fast-moving business ecosystem spanning retail, food, media, operations and strategic growth. No work from home permitted in the first 6 months. This is not an entry-level role and it is not suitable for someone looking to use the position as a stepping stone into another part of the business. We are looking for someone who sees the Senior Executive Assistant role as their long-term seat, and who takes pride in being the right hand, organiser, gatekeeper, follow-through person and trusted operator behind the CEO. The right person will bring structure, discretion, calmness, urgency and sharp execution.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of traceable experience in an Executive Assistant, Senior PA, Chief of Staff support, programme coordination or senior administrative leadership role.
  • Experience supporting founders, CEOs, directors or senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong programme management experience, with the ability to track multiple projects, actions, deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Ideally PRINCE2 qualified or have equivalent project / programme management experience.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence, as the role may require travel between business locations, meetings and key appointments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong diary, inbox, meeting and follow-up management ability.
  • High levels of confidentiality, loyalty and emotional intelligence.
  • The confidence to chase actions, elevate delays and keep people accountable.
  • The ability to work with pace without becoming chaotic.

Core Responsibilities

  • Managing the CEO’s diary, priorities, meetings and follow-ups.
  • Preparing agendas, notes, action logs and decision trackers.
  • Ensuring key projects do not fall through the cracks.
  • Coordinating between internal teams, consultants, suppliers and external stakeholders.
  • Tracking deadlines, commitments and accountability across multiple ventures.
  • Supporting with board-style reporting, meeting preparation and executive communication.
  • Handling sensitive information with complete discretion.
  • Helping the CEO stay focused on high-value strategic activity rather than being pulled into unnecessary operational noise.

The Right Fit

This role is for someone who understands that being a Senior Executive Assistant is a serious, respected and powerful position. We are not looking for someone who wants to “move into marketing”, “move into operations”, “try different departments”, or use the role as an entry point into the wider business. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being the trusted person beside the CEO, keeping the machine moving, protecting time, creating order and ensuring execution happens. This person must be organised, resilient, commercially aware, emotionally grounded and able to operate around strong personalities, urgent priorities and ambitious goals.

Summary

This is a long-term role for a serious operator. The ideal candidate will bring: experience, discipline, discretion, programme management strength and long-term commitment. For the right person, this is an opportunity to sit close to leadership, influence execution across multiple ventures and become a central figure in a growing business ecosystem.
