Are you passionate about shaping young minds in a diverse and dynamic environment? Our prestigious international boarding school is seeking a dedicated House Parent/ Resident Tutor. Our international boarding school provides a nurturing and challenging environment for students from all corners of the globe. We foster academic excellence, character development, and a vibrant community spirit. With a rich blend of cultures, languages, and backgrounds, we aim to prepare students for success in an interconnected world.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a supportive and inclusive living environment within the boarding house.
  • Supervising and mentoring students outside of school hours, fostering personal growth and well-being.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities, outings, and events.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the safety and welfare of all students.
  • Serving as a role model and advocate for the school's values and ethos.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Experience working with adolescents in an educational or residential setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive community.

Hours of Work:

34 weeks per year: term time + 1 week.

Due to the age range of pupils in their care, we cannot accept applications from anyone under the age of 21 for our House Parent vacancy.

You must also have the right to work in the UK with appropriate Visa if necessary. If you have not lived/worked in the UK for the past 5 years you will need to provide a Police check from the country in which you have been living and working.
