Healthcare Provision and Supervision
- Manage and supervise Health Centre, providing first aid and healthcare to students.
- Care for sick students, coordinating further care with parents or hospitals as required.
- Review, monitor, and accurately record the health status of new boarders and day pupils in line with the national Child Health Programme.
- Develop and implement in-school care plans for pupils with long-term conditions or additional health requirements.
- Ensure all student medical records are kept up-to-date and accurately maintained in the school database.
- Advise on the development of health-related policies and support emergency planning, including outbreak responses.
Safeguarding and Welfare
- Collaborate with the safeguarding team to identify and support pupils at risk of abuse or neglect.
- Assist the wellbeing hub in implementing effective welfare plans for vulnerable pupils.
- Monitor student health patterns and refer concerns to the appropriate teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse with valid qualifications and licensing.
- Proven experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and healthcare confidentiality.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and external health agencies.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Term Time + 2 Weeks)
