We are seeking a dynamic and culturally aware International Admissions Officer to support student recruitment across key Asian markets. This role focuses on guiding prospective families through the admissions journey, building strong international relationships, and promoting the school globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage enquiries and support international families from first contact to enrolment
- Conduct interviews, arrange tours, and guide parents through admissions
- Build and maintain relationships with parents, agents, and overseas partners (Asia-focused)
- Support visa documentation, compliance, and student onboarding
- Maintain accurate admissions records and databases
- Promote the school at international education fairs and recruitment events
- Develop and support marketing activity in designated Asian regions
- Provide responsive communication across different time zones, including out-of-hours support when required
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth student placement and arrival
Person Specification
- Experience in admissions, international recruitment, education, or customer relations
- Strong understanding of Asian education markets (essential)
- Conversational Mandarin required
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised, target-driven, and able to work under pressure
- Willingness to travel internationally
- IT and database confident
Desirable
- Experience in UK independent or boarding schools
- Knowledge of UK visa processes
- Existing agent network in Asia
