Are you passionate about food, service, and creating memorable dining experiences? The Grange at Buckshaw Retirement Village is looking for an experienced and enthusiasticCatering & Hospitality Managerto lead our kitchen and front-of-house teams.
You’ll be responsible for delivering a 5-star dining experience across our vibrant village, managing both people and performance to meet high standards and resident satisfaction.
Location:Buckshaw Retirement Village, between Leyland & Chorley
Starting Salary:£29,000, increasing to £31,000 following successful probation
Hours:38.5 per week, rota-based (including alternate weekends)

The Role:
We’re looking for a friendly, experienced, and reliable individual to lead our catering and hospitality services atThe Grange, part of Buckshaw Retirement Village (between Leyland & Chorley).
As Catering & Hospitality Manager, you’ll oversee both front and back-of-house operations, ensuring a 5-star dining experience for our residents. You’ll manage multiple teams, maintain high standards, and work closely with other departments to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage catering and hospitality teams across the site.
- Deliver a high-quality dining experience in line with HICA standards.
- Oversee menu planning, costings, stock control, and supplier management.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP standards.
- Support wellbeing events and create bespoke dining experiences.
- Conduct audits, manage KPIs, and implement action plans.
- Supervise, train, and develop staff, including apprentices.
- Maintain cleanliness, equipment, and supplies across all dining areas.
- Provide hands-on support during busy periods or staff absence.
