Contract type: full-time, 6 month fixed term

Hours: Full-time (based on a 37-hour working week, 5 out of 7 days) with the flexibility to occasionally work outside the core hours

If this sounds like you, we’re looking for 2 new team members at our Nottingham delivery site:

  • A Representation and Welfare Coordinator to assist the Student Engagement and Welfare Coordinator in delivering effective representation at the campus and support a wide range of activities and services. You will need to be knowledgeable of the Union’s full representation and support services, as well as handling advice centre enquiries and day-to-day administration. The post holder will also be responsible for developing key relationships with University staff in order that students are represented effectively and get the most from our unique offer. Finally, as Representation and Welfare Coordinator, you will need to work collaboratively with the Student Activities Coordinator to deliver the programme of wellbeing activities and events.
  • A Student Activities Coordinator to take a lead role on the coordination, promotion and delivery of the recreational and skills development programme. You will engage and support students, undertaking reflective work to ensure each member takes the most from their involvement with our activities, enhancing employability. This is an exciting and varied role where your main responsibilities will be to deliver student facing activities for our members, ensuring accurate records are kept and timely feedback is gathered and reported. You will have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
