This job opportunity is for a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Data Officer to join our amazing IT team at Fairhive. If you enjoy helping others, working in a supportive environment, and contributing to meaningful projects, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the role… Our IT Data Officer will work with the Data Protection Officer to ensure our compliance with data protection legislation (including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). This involves supporting the development and implementation of data protection policies, procedures, and systems, as well as undertaking data governance and administration duties required to keep personal and sensitive data secure, compliant, and accurate. The role also involves preparing data quality reporting and working with the IT Business Systems Manager on raising awareness of any data issues.

You will be responsible for:

  • Processing Data Subject Access Requests
  • Data Sharing and CCTV management
  • Working on Data Quality Reporting and other data-related projects

You will have:

  • Sound knowledge of data protection legislation and best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational, time management, administrative, and prioritisation skills
  • Good IT skills, particularly in data management and security
