Part Time Prep Chef/CDP - 25-30 hours, morning/day shift, Monday to Friday. Fixed term contract until 23 December. Start ASAP. We are looking for a part time prep chef to join our kitchen to support our team through the busy Christmas period. The position starts ASAP and is a fixed term contract that ends on 23 rd December. You will be assisting the kitchen team by receiving and putting away deliveries and helping with a variety of food prep tasks, including: washing salads, peeling and cutting vegetables, preparing basic recipes. The nature of the prep tasks you are given will depend on your kitchen skill and experience. You will not be handling any of the service. We are a busy kitchen with a small team and as a this short-term role we do not expect to have to provide much training – therefore you MUST have recent experience working in professional kitchens handling and preparing food to a high standard. There is a chance that we could extend the contract or create an opportunity on the team long term for the right person.
