An established executive search and interim services firm is seeking a Researcher to join its growing team. This is a target-driven role suited to someone comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance environment. You will support the full executive search lifecycle, from role inception through to offer management, adding value through high-quality research, strong candidate engagement, and market insight. You'll also help shape best practice through continuous feedback and improvement.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role coupled with outstanding communication skills and commercial acumen. Our client can offer full or part time hours and hybrid working plus excellent bonuses.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver multiple executive search assignments simultaneously
- Partner with senior colleagues to prepare client briefs, competency screeners, advert copy, and search documentation
- Develop longlists and talent pipelines by identifying target companies and candidates
- Approach and engage candidates via telephone, email, LinkedIn, and automation tools
- Conduct in-depth candidate conversations to assess suitability and gather market intelligence
- Maintain accurate candidate records on the internal database
- Shortlist candidates against role requirements and competencies
- Conduct structured, competency-based interviews
- Produce clear and concise shortlist reports
- Coordinate and manage client interviews and feedback
- Support offer management alongside senior team members
- Contribute to the development of ongoing candidate talent pools
- Create insight papers on industry trends and challenges based on candidate discussions
- Build and manage relationships with existing clients to generate repeat and new work
- Support new client development during quieter periods
- Help develop high-quality talent pools of senior-level candidates
- Experience in executive search
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially aware with an interest in executive search and talent advisory
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Curious, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement
