Our client, with an office based near Maidenhead, is a well-established traffic design consultancy and traffic data collection specialist. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a permanent Installation Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a hands-on, field-based position that involves travelling to various sites (mainly in London) to install and maintain traffic monitoring equipment. Our client offers a supportive environment with strong development opportunities. It's an excellent role for someone who enjoys practical work, travelling, and being part of a growing sector. Full training will be provided.
Key Duties
- Installing traffic data equipment on-street
- Using power tools, including drills
- Installing independent battery-powered CCTV cameras on lamp columns (ladder work required)
- Reading and following maps accurately
- Driving a company van to multiple UK locations
- Downloading captured data using basic computer skills
Skills/Experience
- Practical and confident, hands on
- Comfortable working at height using ladders
- Able to travel regularly and work independently
- Computer literate and able to manage basic data downloads
- In possession of a full UK driving licence (required)
