Our client is a growing international supplier of sustainable food-service packaging products, working with a wide range of customers including food and beverage brands, catering businesses, distributors and major commercial organisations.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-organised Junior Sales Executive to support their sales and business development activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their sales career who would like to gain experience in B2B sales and international business.

Training and guidance on products, customers and sales processes will be provided.

This is an office based role in Maidenhead and will come with a commission structure based on performance.

Duties include Research potential customers and relevant purchasing contacts.

Support the sales team in developing new business opportunities.

Contact potential customers by email, telephone, Linked In and other appropriate channels.

Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.

Assist with preparing quotations, product information and sales presentations.

Arrange and follow up product samples.

Follow up customer enquiries and quotations under the guidance of the sales manager.

Maintain regular contact with prospective and existing customers.

Collect information about customers' product, packaging and delivery requirements.

Coordinate with colleagues regarding prices, samples, specifications and supporting documents.

Update customer details, enquiries and sales opportunities in the company's internal records.

Prepare basic sales activity and pipeline reports.

Support customer meetings, exhibitions and trade shows when required.

Skills/Experience Strong written and spoken English.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

A confident and professional telephone and email manner.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Comfortable contacting and communicating with new customers.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Ability to manage several tasks and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a small international team.

Desirable Some previous experience in sales, customer service, administration or business development would be helpful but is not essential.

A degree or relevant qualification in business, marketing, international trade or a related subject would be an advantage.

Experience using Linked In, CRM systems or lead-generation tools would be helpful.

An interest in sustainable packaging, food service, hospitality or international business would be beneficial.

Additional European or international language skills would be an advantage.
