Our client is a well-respected humanitarian charity that provides aid to vulnerable communities around the world, regardless of faith, race or background. They are seeking an experienced Events & Volunteer Engagement Manager (with fluent Punjabi) to lead the planning and delivery of fundraising, community and awareness events across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate events professional who enjoys building relationships, engaging communities and delivering events that make a real difference. This is a full time office-based role, Monday to Friday, based in Taplow. Flexibility is essential due to the nature of events, and time off in lieu will be provided for weekends worked. UK wide travel will be required too on occasions. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering fundraising, community and awareness events across the UK Developing creative event concepts to engage supporters, volunteers and partners Managing event budgets, venues, suppliers, logistics and merchandise Building relationships with sponsors, corporate partners and community groups Identifying sponsorship and partnership opportunities to maximise income Recruiting, coordinating and engaging volunteers Working closely with marketing and fundraising teams to promote events Monitoring event performance and using feedback to improve future activities Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, safeguarding and GDPR requirements Skills/Experience A minimum of 5 years' experience delivering fundraising, community, corporate or similar events Experience managing event budgets, suppliers, logistics and event operations A proven track record of generating income through fundraising, sponsorship or partnerships Experience recruiting and managing volunteers Strong organisational, project management and communication skills Excellent stakeholder and relationship-building abilities A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide, including occasional evenings and weekends Fluent Punjabi language skills (essential) Please note that we will only contact those candidates that we assess as suitable for the positions we have currently available based on their experience, training, and skills.
