We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely payroll services. We offer flexibility in how you work, with the option to be office-based, hybrid, or fully remote, depending on your preference and location. Experience using Paycircle and/or Iris Payroll Professional will be an advantage. Key Responsibilities Process weekly, fortnightly, and/or monthly payrolls accurately and on time. Maintain employee payroll records and ensure all changes are updated correctly. Calculate statutory payments, deductions, pensions, and other payroll adjustments. Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, PAYE, National Insurance, and pension legislation. Process new starters, leavers, and payroll amendments. Reconcile payroll reports and resolve any discrepancies. Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and managers. Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams. Support year-end payroll activities, including P60s, P11Ds, and other statutory submissions where required. Maintain confidentiality and security of employee data at all times. The ideal candidate will have: Previous payroll administration experience. Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements. Experience using payroll software and HR systems. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
