An established and highly regarded independent financial planning firm based in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire is seeking an Office Manager / Senior Paraplanner to support its growing client base and lead a small team of paraplanners and administrators. This is a key position within the business, combining technical paraplanning expertise with leadership and operational responsibility. We are looking for someone with Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) and experience in a managerial or supervisory role. The role is office based Monday to Friday and comes with excellent benefits including 24 days holiday, and an enhanced pension.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the office
  • Writing complex suitability reports
  • Managing the end-to-end advice process
  • Ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting, mentoring, and supervising a small team
  • Working closely with Financial Planners to deliver high-quality client outcomes

Skills/Experience:

  • Motivated and detail-oriented with strong technical knowledge and leadership capability
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent)
  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong technical understanding of financial planning
  • Experience using Intelligent Office (I.O.) and adviser platforms
  • Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and team coordination abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset
  • Reliability and a commitment to high standards
