Our client, a well-established and growing organisation within the construction industry, is seeking a Junior Health, Safety & Quality (HSQ) Advisor to join their expanding team. This is a brand-new position created through growth, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop their career in Health & Safety with full training and long-term progression. If you're organised, detail-focused and confident communicating at all levels, this role provides a brilliant platform to build your HSQ expertise in a supportive environment. The role is based at the High Wycombe head office, with occasional travel to the London office for HSQ site audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Build your knowledge to provide advice to site teams on health & safety matters
- Learn to conduct HSQES audits, report findings and track follow-up actions
- Manage the HSQ induction process for new starters
- Work with the Facilities Co-ordinator to ensure Head Office H&S compliance
- Compile HSQ performance reports and present findings where needed
- Support the HSQES Director in maintaining the HSQES Management System, including online records and internal audits
- Assist in producing content for HSQES campaigns such as newsletters and bulletins
- Coordinate data for HSQ KPI reporting, including audits and accident statistics
- Support the maintenance of Awards & Accreditations (e.g. CHAS, ROSPA)
- Contribute to responses for enquiries, PQQs and similar documentation
Skills & Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (intermediate level ideally), Word and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in data entry and maintaining databases/CRM systems
- Confident in producing reports in various formats
- Basic HSQ knowledge desirable, but full training will be provided
