We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Administrator (some HR experience essential) to join our client on an initial six-month fixed-term contract with the potential to go permanent for the right person. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support across all areas of HR and be the first point of contact for HR queries, ensuring a smooth and efficient employee experience while maintaining accurate records and supporting day-to-day HR operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain further hands-on experience within a fast-paced and creative environment, working closely with senior HR professionals and supporting a wide range of HR activities. Hybrid working (3 days in, 2 from home) and excellent benefits including free parking, free shuttle bus to and from Maidenhead Train station, free breakfast, gym and café on site.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line guidance on HR policies and basic employment legislation
- Maintain and update employee records within the HR system
- Process employee lifecycle events, including starters, leavers, and changes
- Manage the HR inbox, responding to queries or escalating where appropriate
- Coordinate onboarding processes and deliver HR inductions for new starters
- Support recruitment administration, including interview coordination, offer letters, and candidate tracking
- Prepare HR reports and assist with data analysis
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards
- Administer employee benefits
- Support wider HR projects and initiatives
- Experience in HR administration
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Degree educated (or equivalent) with a genuine interest in HR
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
