Our client, a leading food distributor based in Slough, is looking for a Senior PR Executive to join their growing PR & External Communications team.

As Senior PR Executive, you'll be at the heart of a busy press office, helping to drive brand awareness and strengthen the company's position as a trusted and influential voice within the sector. The role offers hybrid working and a fantastic benefits package.
Duties Include
Managing day-to-day press office activity and media enquiries
Creating engaging content including press releases, thought leadership articles, corporate communications and award entries
Building strong relationships with journalists and industry stakeholders
Supporting the development and delivery of the company's corporate brand and reputation strategy
Identifying opportunities to showcase expertise, innovation, sustainability initiatives and people
Raising the profile of key business leaders through thought leadership and speaking opportunities
Supporting PR campaigns, business launches and industry events
Keeping abreast of current affairs and identifying relevant opportunities for the business
Supporting issues management and statement writing
Measuring campaign performance and demonstrating impact
Skills & Experience
We're looking for an experienced communications professional who understands how to build reputation and create campaigns that get people talking.
You'll be curious about the world around you, interested in current affairs and passionate about uncovering stories that position the business at the heart of key industry conversations.
To be successful, you'll have:
Previous experience within PR, Communications, External Communications or Corporate Affairs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong content creation and storytelling abilities
Experience building relationships with journalists and external stakeholders
The confidence to work with and advise senior stakeholders
A creative, proactive and commercially-minded approach
Excellent organisational and project management skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
