Upon starting, you will have a personalised development plan that outlines how you can progress through each stage of the Marketing team. You will be working in a team of golf enthusiasts and liaise with a wide range of professionals in the golf industry.
Starting salary is £24,000 plus a 5% bonus. After you receive your first promotion (normally within the first 6 months) your on-target earnings increase to £30,000+ for the first year. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8.15am - 4pm. The company offer additional benefits including pension, medical cover, birthday off.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with internal Marketing Editors and Golf Professionals to assist them with their weekly digital marketing
- Edit all marketing content received from the Golf Professional to ensure it is written in the most optimal format
- Build email newsletters and update website and dispatch weekly email newsletter to set time scales
- Telephone Golf Professionals to drive their participation in marketing campaigns
- Assist Golf Professionals to upload and manage email databases
- Monitor and report on marketing activities
Key Requirements
- Educated to degree level
- Strong telephone manner to liaise with golf professionals effectively
- Keen interest in golf and developing your career in the industry
- Excellent IT skills
- Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Be comfortable to conduct a high level of phone and Teams calls each week
